Marcus Smith from Jonesville, South Carolina started
writing songs when he was fifteen years old. Using a home recording
system, his music paints a picture of what his life has been like and
how he sees the world. His personal lyrics are inspired by the
storytelling power of Tupac Shakur. His fearless style is something he
attributes to his influences such as Ludacris, 50 cent, and Ja Rule. He
is not afraid to write or rap about anything, no matter how harsh or
personal those things may be. His stage name "Mystery" is somewhat
ironic considering how his music is like an open book to his life. |
